UK Trying To Prosecute Assisted Suicide: Chasing Shadows


Now here’s an exercise in futility for you: Poor UK legal authorities trying their hardest to convict 2 people for assisting in a suicide because they accompanied their friend to Swiss death clinic Dignitas. Given this is the UK, they’re chasing shadows, as the UK law has essentially been ruled toothless under prosecutorial guidelines issued earlier that essentially says that while assisted sucide is illegal, it’s basically almost impossible to prosecute.
Assisted suicide suspects re-bailed
TWO South Tynesiders arrested in an assisted suicide investigation have been re-bailed until next year as the probe continues. Douglas Sinclair, from South Shields, died in the controversial Dignitas clinic in Zurich, Switzerland on July 28. more
